If
the whole world is conspiring against you by blocking websites that you
want to check out, well, there are ways you can get through. The
following tricks will help you bypass the restrictions and surf like
there was no blocking at all. |
1.Use IP Instead of URL
More often than not blocked websites are stored in the form of a URL list. Depending on the software/application used typing the IP instead of the URL might sometimes work. To get the IP address, use the ping domain.com command in Command Prompt.
2.Google Cache
Cached pages are stored in search engines like Google, Yahoo themselves, which are more likely to be added to the blocked list. Clicking on the ‘cache’ will provide an upated cached version of the page.
3.Anonymous Surfing
A number of sites allow you to take advantage of their proxy or domain to surf other sites as anonymous.
4.Use Wayback Machine
Wayback Machine periodically keeps a copy of almost all websites in the Internet from the time of their advent. Click on the latest copy of the Wayback Machine and you should get to a site somewhat similar to the real blocked one.
5.Bypass with Translations services
There are a number of online translation services like AltaVista BabelFish, Google Translate that translate a website from one language to another and then display the translated results on their own page. Simply enter the blocked URL there, retranslate it and they will get you the content.
