2. Editing Host file to block websites on all browsers
This is manual method and most traditional method to block
websites on Windows. In windows operating system. There will be a file called
as host file, using which we can block websites on any Windows PC. Just follow these
steps to block websites in all browsers using Host file.
1. From your Windows PC navigate to MY Computer > Local
Disk (c) > Windows > System 32 > Drivers > etc. There you can find
a file with Name HOST
2. Right Click in the HOST file and select OPEN WITH and
select NOTEPAD.
3. Now in the Note
pate file just add “127.0.0.1 blockwebsite.com” without quotes, you can use any
website that you want to block in the place of blockwebsite.com. For example if
you save your file as 127.0.0.1 facebook.com, then Facebook will be blocked on
your website.
This is quite easy to do and by doing this you can block any
website from all your browsers instantly instead of installing add-ons and
extensions in all browsers separately. To unblock those websites again just
navigate to the same HOST file and remove those websites from the list. It will
work fine.
Ways to keep children safe from Adult sites on internet
1. Turn on safe search on Google.
If you want your children to stay away from explicit content
on internet, while searching on Google then just turn on safe search on Google.
To turn on safe search on Google just follow the below steps.
1. Login to your Google account and go to Google Preferences -- > Click HERE.

This option of has be introduced just before few years after
request of many people. Turning on Parental control on YouTube is quite easy.
Just browse to the bottom of your YouTube home page after logging in and you
will find an option SAFETY. It will on OFF in default and just click it and
Turn in on. With this all the explicit content on YouTube will not be displayed
on your YouTube account.
3. Using 3rd Party software’s to block websites from Children.
There are many software available on internet for parental
control to block children from accessing websites with explicit content. DNS
angel is one among them. You can download and start using DNS angel for
parental control. All the parental software’s automatically block all the
websites with adult content in them, so that you need not to manually block
each websites

2. Unrar and open it.
3. Just select any DNS server from the list shown there. All
of them will work fine, so you can select any of them. That’s it. When you try
to access some adult website from your PC you will get some error message on
your browser.
You revert back to your DNS server by just selecting DNS Restore
option.
