How to block Pendrive access

How to block Pendrive access


Step1: Go to "Run" and type "regedit" (Registry Editor)

Step2: Navigate to   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE ->  SYSTEM -> CurrentControlSet -> Services ->  and select "USBSTORE" (if USBSTORE is not showing, connect a pendrive and try)
Disable Pendrive access(click on image to enlarge)


And now double click on "Start" entry from right side. and select Hexadecimal, and change value to '4' as on screenshot below (default is 3)
change Hexadecimal value to '4'
Restart the System to take effect, Now all the Mass storage devices(USB pen drives, USB data storage devices) connected to the system will be blocked automaticaly, while allowing USB mouse and Keyboard normaly....
